I had the opportunity to meet VP designate Margrethe Vestager (along with ECON and ITRE coordinators of Greens/EFA Sven Giegold and Ville Niinistö) and discuss several topics related to the new Commission and the portfolio that she would be responsible for, most importantly:

* the new Commission structure with the Vice-Presidents and the division of work among several Commissioners,
* the role of the EU when it comes to regulation regulation of digital or tech giants,
* opportunities and ways to increase investments into modern and environmentally friendly technologies and transformation of the industry and economy,
* the relation of legal immigration and modernization of the industry and economy.
