I was asked for a meeting on behalf of Ms. Szücs-Bártfai (Legal & Policy Information Officer - Video Games Europe) with representatives of Video Games Europe and with Mr. Martin Frývaldský (CEO of Warhorse Studios - developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance). We met in the EP in Brussels together withh my Advisor P. Diegel. Mr. Frývaldský wanted to present us some behind-the-scenes insights into game development in Europe, including how such titles are developed and financed, as well as broader perspectives on the role of the sector in Europe’s cultural and creative ecosystem and related policy considerations.

Pan Ondřej Filip, ředitel CZ.NIC, správce národní domény a též provozovatele národního bezpečnostního týmu CSIRT.CZ, mě oslovil se žádostí o schůzku. Setkali jsme se online a schůzky se účastnil také můj poradce P. Diegel. Tématem schůzky bylo zvýšení kybernetické bezpečnosti chytrých výrobků, které mají řídící centrum v cloudu. Představil mi mechanismus, na kterém s kolegy pracuje a který by kybernetickou bezpečnost výrobků v EU mohl vylepšit.

On behalf of the Counsellors in charge of relations with EP at the French Permanent Representation I was asked for a meeting with them and with the Director General and other representatives of the French Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI). They wanted to discuss on the cybersecurity topics, and more particularly on CSA2, NIS2 and Digital omnibus - legislative files I´m responsible for as Rapporteur or Shadow Rapporteur. I accepted the meeting request and we met in the EP in Brussels. I was accompanied by my Advisors Mr. Diegel and Mr. Obry.

Pan Jakub Rejzek (Hospodářská komora ČR - PS Kybernetická bezpečnost; Výbor nezávislého ICT průmyslu z. s.) mě jménem Hospodářské komory ČR požádal o schůzku k tématu CSA2 a návrhu změn v NIS2. Jelikož jsem zpravodajkou návrhu, schůzku jsem přijala - proběhla v online podobě a účastnil se jí také můj poradce P. Diegel. Účelem schůzky bylo text panu Rejzkovi více přiblížit a prodiskutovat.

Pan Petr Jonák (člen představenstva Svazu Prumyslu a dopravy ČR a Global Affairs v Prusa Research, a.s.) mě oslovil se žádostí o schůzku. Setkali jsme se osobně v EP v Bruselu, jelikož zde byl na krátké návštěvě. Bavili jsme se na téma kybernetických hrozeb v 3D tisku a snahy Číny ovládnout toto strategické odvětví.

Zástupci Vodafone Belgium SA mě požádali o schůzku ve věci tvz. CSA2 (Akt o kybernetické bezpečnosti 2). Jelikož jsem zpravodajkou tohoto legislativního návrhu la výbor ITRE, schůzku jsem přijala, abych si vyslechla jejich stanovisko. Schůzka proběhla v prostorách EP v Bruselu a účastnil se jí i můj poradce P. Diegel.

On behalf of the of the Cabinet of Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, I was ask to hold a meeting on the topic of the Digital Omnibus – data protection/GDPR aspects – for which I´m Shadow Rapporteur in the LIBE committee. The meeting with the Commissioner took place in the EP in Strasbourg and my Advisor J. Obry was present as well.

On behalf of the Cabinet of Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen, Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy (European Commission), I was ask to hold a meeting on the topic of the Cybersecurity Act 2 2026/0011(COD)), for which I´m Rapporteur. The meeting with the Commissioner took place in the EP in Strasbourg and my Advisor P. Diegel was present as well. The Commission presented to me some of their reasoning behind the proposal.

Pie (aktivista zabývající se lidskými právy v Číně a na Taiwanu) mě požádal o schůzku. Setkala jsem se s ním v prostorách EP v Bruselu a tématem schůzky byla situace právě ohledně lidských práv a také napjatých vztahů Číny a Taiwanu.

On behalf of the Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union I was asked for a meeting with a group of 13 women parliamentarians and 2 staff from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova who came to the European Parliament in Brussels to participate in a Women Empowerment programme organised by the Democracy Support and Election Coordination Group (DEG). I gladly accepted the meeting request and met with the Moldovan women polititians. They mostly asked me about the accession process of Moldova.
