I was asked for a meeting with Ms. Nino Evgenidze (Executive Director, Economic Policy Research Center EPRC) and Ms. Eka Gigauri (Executive Director, Transparency International Georgia), both from Georgia. I accepted the meeting request and we met in the EP in Brussels, together with my Advisor Kristýna Koubek. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the recent developments in Georgia, how civil society and independent media can be supported, and listen to the future plans of Georgian civil society, including their efforts to safeguard Georgia’s European path.
