I was asked for a meeting on behalf of Ms. Szücs-Bártfai (Legal & Policy Information Officer - Video Games Europe) with representatives of Video Games Europe and with Mr. Martin Frývaldský (CEO of Warhorse Studios - developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance). We met in the EP in Brussels together withh my Advisor P. Diegel. Mr. Frývaldský wanted to present us some behind-the-scenes insights into game development in Europe, including how such titles are developed and financed, as well as broader perspectives on the role of the sector in Europe’s cultural and creative ecosystem and related policy considerations.
