The World Uyghur Congress representatives were undertaking an advocacy mission to Strasbourg in March during the plenary session, and asked me for a meeting to discuss issues related to EU-China relations, transnational repression, and the possibility of co-organizing an event on Uyghur rights at the European Parliament, with which I agreed.
