On behalf of the the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium I was asked for a meeting with the Ambassador Hsieh, the Representative of Taiwan to the EU and Belgium. The meeting was held in the EP in Brussels, I attended togehther with my Advisor P. Diegel. We discussed the current geopolitical strategic security environment, the stability of the Indo-Pacific region with new agreements between Japan and Phillipines, and the ongoing challenges posed by disinformation and information warfare, as well as the latest developments in EU-US diplomatic relations and the current state of EU-China economic and trade dynamics.
