Na mou žádost jsem se setkala v Bruselu v kavárně s panem Robinem Berjonem - francouzským počítačovým vědcem a politickým publicistou. Tématem setkání byl tzv. Digital Omnibus (souhrnný balíček pro digitální oblast - 2025/0360(COD)), jehož jsem stínovou zpravodajkou za výbor LIBE. Zajímal mě alternativní návrh Omnibusu, na kterém Bejron spolupracoval.

On behalf of the Director-General of DIGITALEUROPE (leading trade association representing digitally transforming industries in Europe), I was invited to the Masters of Digital VIP Gala Dinner at Théâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels. I accepted the invitation and joined the event together with my Advisor Paul Diegel. We engaged in networking with high-level EU policymakers, innovation leaders, senior executives from across Europe, and other guests of the event.

Mr. Wojciech Wiewiórowski (European Data Protection Supervisor) contacted me with a meeting request. I accepted the meeting request and we met in EP in Brussels together with my Advisor Mr. Obry. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the most important challenges related to the protection of personal data and the use of artificial intelligence systems by European Union institutions, bodies, and agencies.

Ms. Mariami Japaridze, Georgian political analyst and representative of Today–Dghes and Protest24 (Georgian pro-EU minded media initiatives), asked me for a meeting. We met in the EP in Brussels and the topic of the discussion was the Georgia’s pro-EU resistance movement and the ongoing pro-EU protests in Georgia, as well as the current political developments.

S panem Jakubem Jandou z Bezpečnostního centra Evropské hodnoty jsem se setkala osobně v Praze. Tématem setkání byl vliv Čínské komunistické strany na TikTok a geopolitické zájmy Číny v Evropě.

I was asked for a meeting with Ms. Nino Evgenidze (Executive Director, Economic Policy Research Center EPRC) and Ms. Eka Gigauri (Executive Director, Transparency International Georgia), both from Georgia. I accepted the meeting request and we met in the EP in Brussels, together with my Advisor Kristýna Koubek. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the recent developments in Georgia, how civil society and independent media can be supported, and listen to the future plans of Georgian civil society, including their efforts to safeguard Georgia’s European path.

V Evropském parlamentu v Bruselu jsem se na jejich žádost setkala s panem Maxem Schremsem a paní Ursulou Pachl (NOYB - Evropské centrum pro digitální práva). Tématem setkání byla primárně problematika GDPR and e-privacy, a to v rámci tzv. Omnibus IV simplifikačního balíčku, jehož jsem stínovou zpravodajkou. Setkání se zúčastnil i můj poradce Jules Obry.

V Evropském parlamentu v Bruselu jsem se na jeho žádost setkala s Milanem Zubíčkem (Google). Tématem setkání byla primárně problematika ochrany dětí online a oblast regulace technologií a moderování online obsahu. Setkání se zúčastnil i můj poradce Jules Obry.

On behalf of Deputy Permanent Representative of Hungary to the European Union, Ms. Katalin Molnár, I was asked for a meeting concerning the draft REPowerEU regulation, as was called the regulation to phase out Russian gas by the Council. As I´m the Shadow rapporteur for this file, I accepted the meeting request and we met in EP in Brussels to discuss the matter. I listened to the Hungarian concerns, but made my position in this case is clear - that we need to end the imports of Russian gas as soon as possible.

Tým Sinopsis mě oslovil se žádostí o schůzku při příležitosti jejich cesty do Bruselu. Setkali jsme se s paní Kateřinou Procházkovou, panem Davidem Gardášem a panem Martinem Hálou (ředitel Sinopsis) v budově EP v Bruselu; u setkání byl i můj poradce Paul Diegel. Probírali jsme především současné události a vývoj ohledně Číny a dále pak, co Sinopsis chystá za akce a za publikace. Domluvili jsme se na to, že budeme v rámci nějaké z jejich budoucích akcí spolupracovat tak, aby se dostala i do EP.
