Z iniciativy druhé strany jsme se sešli k předání pamětní plakety MO za péči o válečné hroby.

Tématem byly legionářské hroby v Rusku, pomník maršála Koněva, pamětní medaile či jiná ocenění sněmovny a sněmovní volby.

Na základě dřívějšího kontaktu z jejich strany mě navštívily dámy z Konsorcia nevládních organizací pracujících s migranty.
Řešili jsme návrh zákona, jeho nedostatky a jak dosáhnout zlepšení.

Došlo i na aktuální situaci a hrozící problémy kolem ukončování výroby a nejsaných práv pobytu a problematické repatriace.

Dana Balcarová a František Kopřiva se setkali s Andreou Svobodovou, která je seznámila se specifiky místní etikety v Dharamsale a poradila jim s přípravou na cestu.

Dana Balcarová se setkala s Janem Rovenským z organizace Greenpeace. Tématem schůzky bylo minulé zasedání druhé pracovní skupiny uhelné komise.

I had a meeting in my office in Brussels with H.E. Mr. Tatoul Markarian, the ambassador of Armenia in Brussels. We discussed the situation in Armenia with regard to agreements with the EU, and naturally also the situation around Nagorno Karabach and relationship with Azerbaijan. I mostly listened, I shared my opinion and explained what are my concerns just on the Trio Strategy, which the ambassador supported. I was given a traditional Armenian wine.

I joined a meeting in the EP organized by Open Society European Policy Institute (OSEPI) - the policy office of the Open Society Foundations in Brussels. They brought a group of civil society representatives from Georgia to Brussels to share their insights on the implications of the alarming recent setbacks in the area of democracy and rule of law, as well as their analysis on the state of implementation of the EU - Georgia Association Agreement.

I had a meeting in Brussels with Shota, a representative of The Shame Movement. We discussed civic society and activism in Georgia and its potential to influence the situation there. I also asked about their aspirations to go into politics, however they see themselves more as a stepping stone between citizens and parties and a glue between opposition parties.

Na základě mé předchozí žádosti jsem se setkala s ministrem zahraničních věcí Tomášem Petříčkem. Bavili jsme se o mých prioritách, o nadcházející Konferenci o budoucnosti Evropy, budování 5G sítí a všeobecně aktualitách v zahraniční politice. Přijaté výhody: cappuccino.

I attended the Munich Security Conference (14.-16.2.2020). I didn't have any pre-planned bilateral meeting, apart from one with Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs (another record in the lobby register), however I exchanged a lot of bussiness cards and I plan to retrospectively contact some of these people, once it will be beneficial for my work.

I had a meeting in the MEPs bar in Strasbourg with Georgian Dream (government) representatives before the inter-parliamentary PAC meeting. They provided me previously promised materials regarding the political prisoners cases and documents about the violent dispersion of protests. They gave me a USB disc with a footage from some of the demonstrations, however I refused, as I don't want to plug unknown USB discs into my computer. They promised to send it to me via cloud or other solution.
